We’re slowly making our way back down to earth after an incredible night at the 23rd Robinsons Annual Charity Fashion Show, during which an unbelievable £35,000 was raised in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research. Tickets were sold out weeks in advance for the event, which saw guests don their finery and walk the red carpet into Bawtry’s China Rose restaurant, posing for snaps by photographer Elouisa Georgiou as they arrived. Videographer Casey Antwiss of Flammable Films Ltd was also on hand to make sure every moment of the evening was caught on camera.
With guests in their seats, it was time to commence proceedings, with an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza illuminating the stage throughout the night. Models stormed the runway to showcase labels including Mulberry, Moschino, Michael Kors, Versace, Armani, Hugo Boss, Jacob Cohen, Eton, Jeffery West and Ralph Lauren, before transforming into dancers with moves choreographed by Gunther Smitz Choreography. An auction and raffle culminated in an incredible amount being raised for a most deserving charity, before the evening’s musical entertainment took to the stage for a show-stopping performance to finish off the night.
The £35,000 raised on the evening takes the grand total raised for Yorkshire Cancer Research over the last 23 years to almost £320,000! With next year’s annual event also celebrating 30 years of Robinsons, we’re looking forward to smashing the £350,000 mark in style!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to every single person who played a part in making the 23rd Robinsons Annual Charity Fashion Show our most successful to date.
